DO YOU TRAVEL AND WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR THIS?
Yes I travel both nationally and internationally for destination weddings and I don’t charge travel fees!
WHAT’S INVOLVED IN BOOKING YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
Firstly let meet either in person or via video Skype to get a feel for each other and chat more about your wedding plans and my style of shooting. Afterwards if you decide you absolutely must have me create beautiful images of your wedding day then I will send you over a contract to take a look at. To book your date all you need to do is return a signed copy of your wedding photography contract and a date retainer of $500. The remainder is due a month before your wedding.
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU BOOK A YEAR?
The reason I am a wedding photographer is because of what an amazing experience it is for me to be able to share and document such a special moment in my clients lives. I want to have both the time and energy to ensure I give my clients the very best of me on their day. It’s because if this that I have decided to only photograph 15-20 weddings a year.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR PICTURES?
Depending on how busy I am it takes between 4-6 weeks to get your photos. I know how much you must want to see your wedding photos so try and get them done as quickly as possible for you. However as I ‘tweak’ each photo individually it takes some time to get them all perfectly gorgeous. The wait will be worth it I promise!
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL YOU DELIVER?
Roughly 600-800 photos.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
All professional Canon digital equipment.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE?
Beautiful and modern but with a soft dreaminess to it. I feel I am a non-traditional photographer in that apart from the ‘compulsory’ family portraits nothing else will be posed as I prefer to capture ‘real moments’ as they happen throughout the day.
WHAT MAKES A WEDDING REALLY AWESOME TO PHOTOGRAPH?
Firstly….Lots of love. Whether there are 20 people or 200 people, the best weddings are when you can feel the love and support from everyone there. Secondly….cool little decor details that mean something to the bride and groom. Thirdly….a kick-ass dance party!
